We have developed unique and trusted relationships with local nonprofit organizations, foundations, charities, and city governments. Using a network of trained practioners familiar with the mortgage industry and local services, this growing database provides accurate and current information on critical services that may assist consumers experiencing financial issues.

  3. Do organizations in the database pay a fee?

No. This database is intended to be an unbiased, objective list of the best, available assistance in an area.

  4. Are lenders expected to pay for the services provided to their borrowers through a referral?

No. Subscribers to MortgageKeeper simply provide their customers with a referral(s) to local service providers.

  5. Are we liable for the services third party organization provide?

No. In fact, the MortgageKeeper site contains a specific script for call center staff to read to the consumer which requires the consumer to affirmatively respond that they understand that they are receiving only a referral to publicly available services. Services may be helpful but referrals in no way way constitute an endorsement.
